This open-access MTB centre is for mountain bike lovers. There are over 250 km of completely signposted trails in the Pla de l’Estany. Trails depart from a welcome point offering biking and tourist information services.

The centre offers many other complementary services:

Suggested Activities
Option 1: MTB Trail
This is a trail for the most adventurous. The meeting and departure point is the MTB Centre. The trail starts going around the lake to the east until getting to La Draga. At the Park, discover our origins at the Neolithic Settlement located in the park itself. The route continues towards the Control Tower with its marvellous panoramic views out over the Estany de Banyoles. Then we head towards Can Morgat until the Castellana brook and the Mount of Las Gitanes – the highest point of the trail. After this, we visit the most intrepid section of the trail at Les Estunes, where we go through long passages (up to 300 m) formed by ancient earthquakes. Then we head to Pudosa Spring where we can savoir the sulphurous water. Afterwards, we head through Miànigues forest, crossing Matamors brook and visiting the chapel of Santa Magdalena de Noves de Camós – a beautiful Romanesque specimen. The trail finally concludes with a picnic for all participants.

 


Option 2: Family City Bike Trail

A trip for all the family allowing us to enjoy the most important spots in the area. The meeting and departure point is the MTB Centre. The trail starts by going around the lake to the east until La Draga. At the Park, discover our origins at the Neolithic Settlement located in the park itself. The route continues towards the Control Tower with its marvellous panoramic views out over the Estany de Banyoles. After this, we go by the Romanesque church of Porqueres and get to the most intrepid section of the trail at Les Estunes, where we go through long passages (up to 300 m) formed by ancient earthquakes. Then we head to Pudosa Spring where we can savoir the sulphurous water. The trail finally concludes with a picnic for all participants.
